About Sandra Harris
Sandra Harris has been steeped in interiors since 1986. A Bachelor’s degree — Business Management; Minor — Interior Design Karina has had a passion for design even before she began her formal education — her trips to the design trade markets since 1984 allowed her to watch as the trends and styles changed from year to year.
She has a discerning mind about the direction of interior design — what sticks and what changes. She has seen that classic design never really goes out of fashion — it just evolves with the changing needs and identities of each decade. From radical new ideas to more incremental adjustments in materiality and aesthetics, Sandra has seen many design trends come and go — but some foundational features have endured. Having worked for almost 20 years in the field, she also brings unique insights about the cyclical mechanisms of design and the way they affect the interaction of tradition and newness, the old and the new.
